Mandatory Documents and Important Information:

The following documents are required to collect the vehicle:

· A printed version of your Rental Voucher.

· Passport.

· A valid credit card in the name of the main driver.

· A valid full driving licence (with no major endorsements). International driving licence is required for customers whose licence is not written in the Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Chinese, Cyrillic etc). For driving licenses from countries not part of the international driving license treaty, an official translation of the license must be presented with the original license.

Age Restriction and Driving Licence: Drivers must be between 25 and 99 years of age and have held a valid driving licence for a minimum of 1 year. Young driver's age: 18 to 24 years. Charge 10 USD per day. (Excludes taxes and fees)

Customers who fall outside the age limitations will not be able to hire a car unless there is a young or senior driver fee specified in this section. Please note that if applicable, this fee will be included in the rental price and will be payable on arrival at the rental desk in the local currency.

*For important information (and mandatory documents) regarding the insurance and coverage of the vehicle, please read 'EXCESS & LIABILITY' section.

Excess and Liability:

This reservation does NOT include CDW (Collision Damage Waiver Insurance). The CDW is typically purchased by customers that are not covered for vehicle damage or loss by their Credit Card Company (or insurance linked to a credit card).

For your own protection we require that all customers present a valid printed letter and proof of coverage from your banking institution with a verifiable phone number and/or e-mail address for confirmation, stating that LDW (CDW) coverage is provided by his/her credit card, and the banking institution will be accountable for all the expenses in case of an accident or any mishap during the validity of the lease; as to establish that this will be done through a reimbursement in favour of the cardholder. All bank institutions that provide these credit cards MUST BE REGULATED BY THE MEXICAN CNSF (Comisión Nacional de Seguros y Fianzas) the official Government Institution that regulates Insurance companies in Mexico. Also, If customer does have the appropriate approval and coverage from its credit card institution they will have to sign a ‘statement of personal responsibility for the total value of the car’ should they decline the LDW (CDW) offered at the desk and wish to be covered by their Credit Card Company. In the event of an accident, a customer having declined LDW (CDW) will be fully responsible for all damage and/or repairs up to the total value of the car.

Third Party is included up to 250000 MXN.

CDW is available at the desk for 33.65 USD per day.

A deposit between 12000 USD and 30000 USD (depending on car category) will be required at the desk. If your credit card doesn’t have funds to cover this deposit, LDW/CDW purchase will be mandatory. The deposit will be reimbursed when the vehicle is returned with no damage or missing items.
