We will be on Holiday at the Khao Lak resort and we want to hire a car to explore a part of Thailand. What is the nearest car hire location? I have searched several times at the Khao Lak resort but it hasn't returned any options.

If you are considering exploring Khao Lak and the Phang nga area , it is advisable to book a rental car online at the Airport of Phuket in advance. Although it might be possible to rent a vehicle in Khao Lak, there is limited availability. When you conduct a search for Khao Lak, use a tablet, PC or laptop, type ¨Khao Lak¨ and press search. A map will be displayed which you can navigate left/right and zoom in/out. As you zoom in, if there is availability the icons will display prices. Click on it and cars will be shown. If the icons show ¨ no availability ¨ no cars are available.
