• Third Party Liability with a maximum cover of £5,000,000.

• One-way fee has been added to the price quoted online and is payable at the counter; only applicable for One Way Rentals.

Mandatory Documents and Important Information:

The following documents are required to collect the vehicle:

• A printed version of your Rental Voucher.

• Passport or Identification card.

• A valid credit card in the name of the main driver.

• A valid (with no major endorsements) driving licence. International driving licence (accompanied by domestic licence) is required for customers whose licence is from outside UK, EU, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Singapore, Hong Kong, Belarus, Bermuda, Bosnia, Israel, Montenegro, Russia, Serbia and Turkey. International driving permits must be accompanied by the national driving license. Please show a valid ID card or passport at time of pick up.

• UK mainland customers: You must include the printed endorsement record or the code obtained from DVLA website:www.gov.uk/view-driving-license) for all named drivers, with details of all endorsements. If you have 6 points or below on your license you can still hire from Sixt. If you have above 6 points or have an AC, BA, TT, NE, CD, IN, LC, MS, UT, DD, DG, DR or XX endorsement that is within less than 5 years you are not able to hire from us. If you fail to bring a printed endorsement history or unique DVLA code, a fee of £10.00 will be incurred in order for a DVLA license endorsement check to be carried out during their working hours.

• Northern Ireland customers: You will need to bring your paper counterpart.

• If your Driving Licence is not issued in UK, EU, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Singapore, Hong Kong, Belarus, Bermuda, Bosnia, Israel, Montenegro, Russia, Serbia and Turkey your licence will need to be referred for prior approval. This will need to be done a minimum of 48 hours prior to your rental start date during Customer services operating hours. Please e-mail customerservices@sixtni.co.uk with a copy of your domestic license (front and back), a copy of International Driving Permit (IDP) or Certified translation into English for Chinese License, evidence of driving in the UK - at least 14 days in the last year, your upcoming Sixt reservation number and Insurance Referral Authorisation code.

Age Restriction and Driving Licence:

If your Licence is issued in UK, EU, USA, China, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Singapore, Hong Kong, Belarus, Bermuda, Bosnia, Israel, Montenegro, Russia, Serbia and Turkey please refer to the age restrictions below:

• Rental age requirements in Northern Ireland are 25 to 69 years

• You must be 25 years of age to rent groups M***, E***, C***, SDAR, SDMR, SFAR, SFMR, SWAR and held a licence for 3 years.

• You must be 30 years of age to rent groups I***, F***, P***, L***, X***, SVMR, SVAR and held a licence for 3 years..

Age Restrictions for countries not listed above:

• Rental age requirements in Northern Ireland are 25 to 69 years

• You must be 25 years of age to rent groups C***, SDAR, SDMR, SWAR, SFAR, SFMR and held a licence for 5 years.

• You must be 30 years of age to rent groups I***, F***, P***, L***, X***, SVMR, SVAR and held a licence for 5 years.

Excess and Liability:

Group Mini has an excess of £1200

Groups Economy and Compact have an excess of £1400

Groups Intermediate and Standard have an excess of £2000

Groups Premium, Luxury and Fullsize have an excess of £2500

Group X*** has an excess of £5000

Sixt Optional protection packages:

Top Cover:

Reduced excess will reduce the excess to £350 (Mini, Economy and Compact vehicles) or £500 (all other vehicles) in case of theft or damage.

Cost: £13.14 per day (Mini, Economy and Compact vehicles), £18.65 per day (all other vehicles). Credit card is mandatory.

Super Top Cover:

Minimum excess will reduce the excess to £100 (Mini, Economy and Compact vehicles) or £200 (all other vehicles) in case of theft or damage. VISA Debit card can be used for this protection product. VISA Debit cards are only accepted for bookings of Vehicles in the Standard category or smaller.

Cost: £17.94 per day (Mini, Economy and Compact vehicles), £23.94 per day (all other vehicles).
