Rate Details

Vehicles may be driven into Canada. They do not require presentation of liability protection letters, certificates or stickers at customs. A passport is now required to enter Canada. Canadian customs and excise regulations prohibit Canadian residents from driving United States rental vehicles in Canada and returning to the United States. Vehicles may not be driven to Mexico.

Policies

Shuttle pick up is available at the Federal Circle. From any terminals please take the Airtrain to Federal Circle. Once you are there please go downstairs to the street level and follow the signs to free shuttles. Once you reach the roundabout with a sign that says: "Free Shuttles to Off-Airport Hotels and Rental Cars" please call us at 877-777-0010 to request a pick up.

Renters must have a valid drivers license and major credit card in their name.

International renters must also present a passport and a valid drivers license from their country of residence. If the license is in non-Latin alphabet an international driving license will be required.

Vehicles are rented full to full. Vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel as at the start of rental to avoid refueling charges.

Any changes to the reservation or rental may result in a change of rate or additional fees. Makes/models are examples only and are not guaranteed.

Customer is responsible for paying all tolls and violation incurred while in the rental.

Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and debit cards are accepted at the time rent. A security deposit of 500 USD plus the estimated total of the rental will be held on the card at the time of pickup.

Use of a debit card will require verification of full coverage insurance.

For non-residents of New York and New Jersey with proof of full coverage auto insurance, the authorized security deposit will be reduced to 200 USD for major credit cards and 350 USD for bank issued debit cards.

Cash is only accepted at return for final payment.

Prepaid cards, and checks are not accepted at any time.

MCU Bank cards are not an acceptable form of payment.

No refunds are made for early returns.

Additional drivers must meet all qualifications as the primary driver in regards to age, passport and license requirements.

Additional Drive fee is 10 USD per day. Spouses are not included for free.

Minimum age to rent is 21. Age 21 to 24 will have an Underage Driver fee applied. Cost per day is 20 USD. Maximum age to rent is 80.

Local renters are renters without a roundtrip ticket or have residence within 150 miles of the office. Local renters are subject to mileage limitations of 200 miles per day with additional mileage at 0.25 USD per mile.

150 miles per day applies for vans. Excess mileage is USD/00.25 per mile for sedans and SUVs, USD/00.35 per mile for Minivans and USD/00.45 per mile for Full Sized Vans.
