Policies
A deposit of $300 plus the cost of the rental will be taken against the payment method for security purposes. For Specialty vehicles, a deposit of $500 plus the cost of the rental will be taken against the payment method.
Debit cards are accepted if the customer presents a flight roundtrip itinerary matching the pick up and return dates of ACE Rent A Car rental.
Cash, checks, and prepaid cards are not accepted at any time.
Valid US or International driver's license must be provided at time of pickup. International license must accompany valid country license and passport, all with matching names.
Vehicle must be returned with the same amount of gas as when rented.
Non-prepaid customers will receive a grace period of 4-hours after their scheduled pick-up time to receive the vehicle. After the 4-hour grace period, non-prepaid reservations will be subject to availability. Please call the location directly for any flight delays or same-day changes in pick-up time.
All renters and additional drivers must be 21 or older, have a valid driver's license and a major credit card in their name.
Free unlimited mileage.
Vehicles are not allowed into Mexico and states west of the Rocky Mountains.
Debit cards accepted from local renters when the customer presents a utility bill under their own name and address matching the one on their drivers license. The utility bill must be current and no past due balance.
Drivers must be at least 21 years of age to rent. Drivers 21 to 24 will be subject to a daily underage fee of 15 USD per day.
The Additional Driver fee is 15 USD day. Spouses are included free of charge. Additional drivers must meet the same requirements as the Renter.
Any form of proof of valid insurance coverage accepted. All insurance companies accepted.
Cancellation and no-show policy
What is your cancellation policy for fully prepaid or part-paid bookings?
1 - If you cancel 48 hours prior to your pick-up, you will be refunded in full.
2 - If you cancel less than 48 hours in advance of pick-up, you'll receive a refund minus USD100. If your online payment is less than USD100, no refund will be made for your car rental booking.
3 - If your booking is made less than 48 hours before pick-up, the cancellation policy will automatically apply to your booking.
4 - All cancellations should be made online via the Manage Booking page prior to the scheduled pick-up time and not with the car rental provider.
5 - You can make any changes to your booking up to 48 hours before pick-up, with no additional charge, however, live pricing will apply. If you amend your booking less than 48 hours in advance of pick-up, the amount you currently paid will be carried over to your new booking minus a late change fee of USD50.00. If you have paid less than USD50.00, no amount will be carried over to your new booking.
6 - If you cancel your booking less than 48 hours before pick-up you will be charged a cancellation fee of USD100. If you have paid less than USD100, you will not be charged more than you currently paid.
If you purchased our Damage Refund Insurance product and have since decided to cancel your car rental booking, the Damage Refund Insurance will be cancelled automatically.
If you wish to amend or rearrange your booking, the Damage Refund Insurance will initially be cancelled. We will, however, automatically create a new policy for your new booking.
In both cases you will receive an email to confirm the cancellation at the email address you have provided during the online booking process.
Please be aware that if you cancel your insurance policy less than 24 hours before the start of your car rental agreement, no refund for insurance will be granted.
What is a no-show?
A 'no-show' occurs for the following reasons:
1 - You didn't inform us about your cancellation prior to your pick-up time.
2 - You failed to pick up the car at the arranged time and date.
3 - You failed to provide the documentation that's required to pick up the car.
4 - You failed to provide a credit card in the main driver's name with enough available funds on it.
In the event of any of the above, no refunds will be made to you.
The car rental company reserves the right to refuse a car if you fail to arrive on time with all necessary documentation and a credit card with enough available funds for the car's security deposit. In such a case, unless the car hire has been cancelled at least 48 hours in advance, you will not be entitled to a refund.
Expert advice to make your journey go smoothly
Always ask for directions to the nearest gasoline station to the rental drop-off location. Keep your fuel sales slip as proof of refueling.
Take time to familiarize yourself with the vehicle controls before leaving the parking area
Fully inspect the vehicle for signs of damage and report them to the rental desk before leaving the parking area
Ask for a map at the car rental desk
When visiting a location for the first time, always choose a safe parking spot like a supervised parking lot
